About Yvette Stupart, PhD
Dr. Yvette Stupart holds a masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Caribbean Graduate School of Theology, and a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Regent University. She teaches courses such as Lifespan Development and Marriage and Family Therapy in two masters program.
Yvette also conducts seminars and workshops in areas such as Psychology of Self, Bereavement and Grief, and Stress Management in various organizations. In her counseling practice, TEAM for Change, she deals with mental health issues and marriage and family difficulties.
Dr. Yvette Stupart is an educator, clinical counselor, and writer. Her passion is to inspire and empower people to achieve their purpose in life. Her writing serves as a guide to help readers explore strategies to deal with challenges that could affect their mental health. Drawing from her varied experiences and professional training, she gives insights on how to experience mental/emotional wellness.
Along with her colleagues, she has published in peer reviewed academic journals on counseling - related topics. Also, she has been writing online on topics such as mental health, family life, education, and Christian spirituality since 2009. Her book, “Embracing Your Purpose: A Thirty-Day Devotional to Change Your Life,” was published September 2013, with an updated edition planned for summer, 2017.
