About Raluca Enescu

After graduating from an MSc in Gender, Media and Culture at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Raluca Enescu has spent 6 months interning for Plan UK, working on an ambitious cohort study which tracked the lives of over 100 girls in 9 developing countries in order to understand patterns of poverty, gender inequality and educational underachievement.
Currently a freelance researcher living in London, Raluca is primarily interested in intersectional approaches to social identities, structural inequality, ideologies and education, particularly in relation to marginalised groups; as well as in the sociology of gender, sexuality and intimacy.
