About Antonio Rosales
Antonio Rosales was educated in Lund University, where he gained a Master’s degree in Sociology. He takes an interest in microsociology and qualitative methods as a way to approach issues such as social deviance, marginalization, coercion, conflicts, power and stigma. In his previous research, he studied Swedish police officers perspectives on communication with the public; he has also done research on poor people’s strategies to cope with poverty in their everyday life. In addition to sociology, he has a previous background as a musician--specifically in classical piano. He was born in San Salvador, El Salvador and grew up in Malmo, Sweden.
